PLANNING DIRECTORS REPORT
CONTINUE TO MAY 15, 2023- Hendrey Residence, 2 Loma Robles Drive, Project No. PRO2023-0014 -- Continued to May 15th Planning Commission Meeting
Design Review and Conditional Use Permit to allow for a 725 square foot pergola on the rear side of an existing single-family dwelling. The project is categorically exempt from review under the California Environmental Quality Act under a Class 3 categorical exemption for “new construction or conversion of small structures” pursuant to 14 CCR Section 15303(e).
State Density Bonus Law, Senate Bill 35, and Other Related State Housing Laws
The action being considered is exempt from environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to California Public Resources Code Section 21065. Receipt of a report is not a “project” under CEQA, because it does not involve an activity that has the potential to cause a direct or reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment.
Draft Objective Design and Development Standards (ODDS).
Adoption of the ODDS and other Zoning Code amendments to implement the new Housing Element will be assessed as part of the Environmental Impact Report being prepared for adoption of the Housing Element, pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act.
